You collect the opt-in. That happens wherever you already talk to your customer: an intake form, a booking flow, a point-of-sale screen, a paper form. We don't text anyone you haven't asked us to. The line most businesses use reads like this:

"By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive review-request and follow-up SMS messages from {Business Name}, sent through Review La La. Message frequency: 1–3 messages per transaction. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Messaging Terms."

Consent is never a condition of purchase. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT all opt a customer out automatically, and HELP gets a help response. No exceptions.
